Let’s face it — it’s hot, hot, hot in Texas.

Down south on the US/Mexico border, Laredo is one of the hottest cities in the state — historically averaging 70–90 triple-digit days a year. This year we’ve already logged roughly 29 days at or above 100°F, including a record-setting February scorcher, and a mid-July heat dome is pushing highs toward 104–105°F. And forecasters say our triple-digit days are only trending up.
